R.C.I.A. (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults) The Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) is a journey in faith for those who wish to become members of the Roman Catholic Church. Roman Catholics who desire to deepen their faith through study and update are invited to join as sponsors. Roman Catholics age 18 and older who have not completed the process of Initiation for Confirmation are also invited to become participants of the RCIA. The Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) meets on Wednesday nights from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm. The process runs from September through May or June, with the initiation of the new members at the Easter Vigil.
