Middle School and High school students seeking the Sacrament of Confirmation are asked to devote time for prayer, religious instruction, ministry and a directed retreat prior to being Confirmed.  Generally speaking, the preparation process for Confirmation is one year.  However, the Diocese of Pueblo has recently modified its process to emphasize “readiness” on the part of the individual seeking this Sacrament.  After one year of formation, those wishing to proceed in being Confirmed will express their desire in a letter he/she will write to the bishop.

Confirmation is not a “graduation” from Christian formation.  Rather, following Confirmation, youth are expected to continue in their faith formation by regularly attending Holy Trinity’s youth programs.  Participation in our youth program is designed to strengthen a young Catholic’s personal relationship with Christ and enable Christian friendships that will last a lifetime.
